Consumer :

An individual or a business entity that buys the technical support services/solutions provided by TheTechFellow at an applicable service plan.

Service :

Tech Support/troubleshooting for technical issues related to computer/s, computer network/s, and computer peripheral/s provided by TheTechFellow to its consumers.

This Privacy Policy discloses the practices by TheTechFellow to protect the privacy of its consumers. Consumers submitting their information on the TheTechFellow website or agreeing to a remote support session from TheTechFellow are deemed to have accepted this privacy policy.

1. INFORMATION COLLECTION & USEAGE

1.1 Personal Information :

Complete Name, email address, phone number, city, state, and country of residence- TheTechFellow is the sole owner of such information of its consumers and does not sell, rent, disclose or share the personal information of its consumers with any other party. TheTechFellow uses the consumers' contact information to contact them may also use it to update consumers about new offers and services, periodically.

1.2 Payment Related :

TheTechFellow uses secure payment gateways to receive payments from consumers. TheTechFellow accepts payments through consumers' credit card/ debit card and other such payment methods. TheTechFellow may collect information like the name of the consumer, credit/debit card number, respective expiration date, the amount to be charged and the billing address to process and verify payments made by the consumer. However this information may be shared with the bank or the concerned payment service provider, strictly to the extent required for payment processing. TheTechFellow does not store any information related to the credit/debit card number of the consumer, as the payment is processed through the secure payment gateway provided by an authorized payment service provider.

1.3 Computer-related :

TheTechFellow may need information related to computers for which service is provided to the consumers. Such information can include the make of the computer/device/software/hardware, model number of the same, date of purchase, configuration and specification of the computer or the device/software/hardware in question. Such information helps TheTechFellow to improve the quality of service provided to the consumers and improve the overall consumer experience.

1.4 Tech Support Session recordings :

TheTechFellow reserves the right to monitor/record/store recordings of web/voice support sessions between the consumer and the TheTechFellow engineer/executive for the purpose of -resolution of disputes, quality improvement and training purposes. However, any confidential data or identification data is removed/concealed from recordings meant for quality or training purposes.

1.5 Opt-Out Preferences :

During your interaction with TheTechFellow, we might request you to share your personal information, which might include: your name, contact details, phone & mailing details, email information, credit/debit card information.

At any point i.e. during your purchase or after your purchase, if you would like to opt –out from our services and would like TheTechFellow to remove all the information we hold for you then you can choose any of the following means of communication:

TheTechFellow services are often accompanied by a phone- survey and always by a web-survey. Information collected through these surveys is absolutely voluntary on the consumer's part and are very vital in helping TheTechFellow improve the quality of service provided with increased consumer satisfaction.

2. INFORMATION NOT RELATED TO SERVICE :

Under no circumstance does TheTechFellow handle any personal or confidential data on the consumers' computer(s) unless requested to do so and unless the troubleshooting or support to be provided is related to such data. However, should the consumer feel even the slightest compromise on this front is encountered, TheTechFellow vows to guarantee complete satisfaction and the consumer is requested to contact support@thetechfellow.com or call 1 888 303 2973.

3. SECURITY :

3.1 Online :

TheTechFellow uses high-end technology to ensure the consumers receive an absolute secure environment to enter any data on the website or otherwise. Information entered on the TheTechFellow website is encrypted and protected. Our web environment is VeriSign secure and the level of security matches the most secure trading web interfaces online. The payment portal incorporates an SSL encryption for protecting the online data.

3.2 Offline :

All consumer contact information is maintained on highly secured servers installed in a very safe environment. Access to such information is provided through password-authenticated interface only to employees, strictly for customer service and billing related purposes.

Extreme caution is practiced in TheTechFellow offices to ensure data integrity and security. TheTechFellow deploys a password-protected login for all its employees to ensure no unauthorized usage is encountered. TheTechFellow employees are well trained to respect and follow the privacy policy and comply with all security protocols followed and practiced by TheTechFellow.

4. CHANGES :

TheTechFellow reserves the right to update this privacy policy by posting changes online without notice to the consumers. The most recently-updated policies can be reviewed by clicking on the privacy policy. However, if TheTechFellow decides to use any of the data mentioned in clause1, in a manner different from those stated when the data was collected, or those mentioned in the privacy policy; the consumer will be notified via e-mail.
